Through a series of fortunate events, I have been given the opportunity to receive coaching. While at times difficult, I welcome the process of examining roadblocks on the path to holistic success and achievement. I also appreciate so much that this process is founded on positivity, encouragement, and working to better the future and one’s self.
In the short time I have worked with my coach, she has guided me to discover an immense amount of underlying beliefs and ideals that have mapped my perspective on so many things: how I relate to others, how I view myself and my accomplishments, and, most importantly, what resides in the core of my identity. One particular whopper that loves making itself known during my coaching sessions is my desire to be strong. Strong in heart. Strong in mind. Strong in relationships. Strong in my commitment to each and every role that I have accepted. Strength is something I wish to embody in everything I approach in life yet it’s a quality I feel I rarely exude.
In an effort to shift my perspective and prioritize strength, I’ve been assigned to intentionally report on moments of strength. And, in order to hold myself accountable for this task, I’ve decided to report these by posting here on my blog. To most – if not all – of you, these moments may seem trivial but each moment counts and I will savior each moment – no matter how small – as I build my arsenal for my battle to always remain strong.
